కొరింతీయులకు రాసిన మొదటి పత్రిక 10:13

ఇప్పటి వరకూ మీరు ఎదుర్కొన్న పరీక్షలు సాధారణంగా మనుషులందరికీ కలిగేవే. దేవుడు నమ్మదగినవాడు. సహించడానికి మీకున్న సామర్ధ్యం కంటే మించిన పరీక్షలు మీకు రానివ్వడు. అంతేకాదు, సహించడానికి వీలుగా ఆ కష్టంతో బాటు దానినుండి తప్పించుకునే మార్గం కూడా మీకు ఏర్పాటు చేస్తాడు.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
