వాళ్ళ పశువులు గిలాదు దేశంలో అతి విస్తారమయ్యాయి. కాబట్టి వాళ్ళు తూర్పున యూఫ్రటీసు నది దగ్గరనుండి అరణ్యపు సరిహద్దుల వరకూ నివాసాలు ఏర్పరచుకున్నారు.
