Daarna sprak koning David tot al het vergaderde volk: Mijn zoon Salomon, die door Jahweh werd uitverkoren, is nog jong en tenger, en de taak is zwaar; want niet voor een mens is de bouw bestemd, maar voor Jahweh, den Heer.
