1. ദിനവൃത്താന്തം 29:17

എന്റെ ദൈവമേ; നീ ഹൃദയത്തെ ശോധനചെയ്തു പരമാർത്ഥതയിൽ പ്രസാദിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു; ഞാനോ എന്റെ ഹൃദയപരമാർത്ഥതയോടെ ഇവയെല്ലാം മനഃപൂർവ്വമായി തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇപ്പോൾ ഇവിടെ കൂടിയിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ ജനം നിനക്കു മനഃപൂർവ്വമായി തന്നിരിക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കണ്ടുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.
