Perciocchè noi siamo forestieri e avveniticci nel tuo cospetto, come furono tutti i nostri padri; i nostri giorni sono sopra la terra come un'ombra, e non vi è speranza alcuna.

For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
