Tanrı, Yeruşalem'i yok etmek için bir melek gönderdi. Onu yok etmek üzereyken Yahve gördü ve felaketten vazgeçti ve yok edici meleğe, “Yeter artık. Şimdi elini çek.” dedi. Yahve'nin meleği, Yevuslu Ornan'ın harman yerinin yanında duruyordu.
