దావీదు “నేను ఈ పని చేసి పెద్ద పాపం చేశాను. నేను చాలా అవివేకంగా ప్రవర్తించాను. ఇప్పుడు నీ దాసుని దోషం తీసివెయ్యి” అని దేవునికి మొర్రపెట్టాడు.

And David said unto God, I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech thee, do away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.
