அப்பொழுது தாவீது காத்தை நோக்கி: கொடிய பிரச்சனையில் அகப்பட்டிருக்கிறேன்; இப்போது நான் யெகோவாவுடைய கையிலே விழுவேனாக; அவருடைய இரக்கங்கள் மிகப்பெரியது; மனிதர்கள் கையிலே விழாமல் இருப்பேனாக என்றான்.

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.
