ദാവീദ്‌ രാജാവു ഒർന്നാനോടു: അങ്ങനെ അല്ല; ഞാൻ മുഴുവിലെക്കേ അതു വാങ്ങുകയുള്ളു; നിനക്കുള്ളതു ഞാൻ യഹോവെക്കായിട്ടു എടുക്കയില്ല; ചെലവുകൂടാതെ ഹോമയാഗം കഴിക്കയും ഇല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
