I CRONICHE 21:24

Ma il re Davide disse ad Ornan: No; anzi io del tutto comprerò queste cose per giusto prezzo; perciocchè io non voglio presentare al Signore ciò che è tuo, nè offerire olocausto che io abbia avuto in dono.

And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.
