રાજા દાઉદે ઓર્નાનને કહ્યું, “ના, હું તે પૂરેપૂરી કિંમત આપી ખરીદીશ. યહોવાહને દહનીયાર્પણ કરવા માટે, જે તારું છે, જેને માટે મેં કિંમત ચૂકવી નથી, તે અર્પણ હું નહિ લઉં.”

And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.
