Nang nakita ng mga Ammonita na naging mabaho sila kay David, nagpadala si Hanun at ang mga Ammonita ng isang libong talentong pilak upang upahan ang mga karwahe ng Arameo at mga mangangabayo mula sa Naharaim, Maacah, at Soba.
