தமஸ்குவுக்கடுத்த சீரியாவிலே படைகளை வைத்தான்; சீரியர்கள் தாவீதுக்கு பணிவிடைசெய்து அவனுக்குக் காணிக்கைகளைச் செலுத்தினார்கள்; தாவீது போன இடத்திலெல்லாம் யெகோவா அவனைக் காப்பாற்றினார்.

Then David put garrisons in Syria-damascus; and the Syrians became David’s servants, and brought gifts. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
