ஆகையால் தாவீது ஏதோமிலே படைகளை வைத்தான்; ஏதோமியர்கள் எல்லோரும் அவனுக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்கிறவர்களானார்கள்; தாவீது போன இடங்களிலெல்லாம் யெகோவா அவனைக் காப்பாற்றினார்.

¶ And he put garrisons in Edom; and all the Edomites became David’s servants. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
