પછી દાઉદે દમસ્કસના અરામીઓના વિસ્તારમાં લશ્કરો ગોઠવ્યા. તેઓ દાઉદના દાસો બની ગયા અને તેઓ તેને કર આપવા લાગ્યા. દાઉદ જ્યાં કંઈ ગયો ત્યાં યહોવાહે તેને વિજય અપાવ્યો.

Then David put garrisons in Syria-damascus; and the Syrians became David’s servants, and brought gifts. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
