அவர்கள் பாகால்பிராசீமுக்கு வந்தபோது, தாவீது அங்கே அவர்களைத் தோற்கடித்து: தண்ணீர்கள் உடைந்து ஓடுவதுபோல, தேவன் என்னுடைய கையால் என்னுடைய எதிரிகளை உடைந்து ஓடச்செய்தார் என்றான்; அதினால் அந்த இடத்திற்கு பாகால்பிராசீம் என்னும் பெயரிட்டார்கள்.

So they came up to Baal-perazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baal-perazim.
