யோவாபின் சகோதரனாகிய அபிசாய் அந்த மூன்றுபேர்களில் முதன்மையானவன்; அவன் தன்னுடைய ஈட்டியை ஓங்கி, முந்நூறுபேரை கொன்றதால் இந்த மூன்றுபேர்களில் பெயர்பெற்றவனானான்.
