ഫെലിസ്ത്യർ യിസ്രായേലിനോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു; യിസ്രായേല്യരോ ഫെലിസ്ത്യരുടെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു ഓടി ഗിൽബോവപർവ്വതത്തിൽ നിഹതന്മാരായി വീണു.

Now the Philistines fought against Israel; and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa.
