હવે પલિસ્તીઓએ ઇઝરાયલની સામે યુદ્ધ કર્યું. ઇઝરાયલના પુરુષો પલિસ્તીઓની આગળથી નાસી ગયા, ગિલ્બોઆ પર્વત પર તેઓની કતલ થઈ.

Now the Philistines fought against Israel; and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa.
